What you need

  • White ,yellow, orange construction paper
  • White and Yellow Chenille Pipe Cleaners
  • White Feathers
  • Black Marker
  • Glue Stick

What you do

  1. Take one piece of White construction paper and place it horizontally on a table.  Fold the left side to the middle and fold the right side to the middle (overlapping slightly).  Glue the overlapping section closed.  What you will have is a cylinder shape with creased sides (folded edges).  Allow to open slightly so that it stands up on its' own. This will be the Angels' body.
  2. Cut two rectangular shapes out of the white construction paper.  These will be the angel's Arms.  Glue them to the back edges of the angel's body.
  3. Draw a hairdo design on a yellow piece of construction paper.  Glue to top center of the angel's body.
  4. Draw a face and hands shape out of orange construction paper.
  5. Glue face to the center of the yellow hair. Glue the hands at then end of the angel's sleeves.
  6. Glue white feathers to the back of the angel's body to simulate the wings.
  7. Make a circle out of the white chenille pipe cleaner; this will become the halo.
  8. Wrap a piece of yellow chenille pipe cleaner to the back of the halo.
  9. Glue the white chenille pipe cleaner to the center of the back of the angel's body.
  10. Now you have a construction paper centerpiece.
