Bat Gift, Halloween or Goody Bag Kids Craft
This is a great craft! The Bat is designed to stand on its' own or attached to a bag to make a great gift or goody bag.

What you need
- Orange and Black Craft Paper
- Wiggle Eyes
- Glue Stick
What you do
- Take one piece of Black construction paper and place it horizontally on a table. Fold the left side to the middle and fold the right side to the middle (overlapping slightly). Glue the overlapping section closed. What you will have is a cylinder shape with creased sides (folded edges). Allow to open slightly so that it stands up on its' own.
- Cut out two #1 template pieces and one #2 template piece out of a diferrent sheet(s) of black construction paper.
- Glue the #1 pieces to either side of your cylinder(bat body).
- Glue the #2 piece to the top of the body.
- Cut our two #3 Template pieces from the orange construction paper.
- Make small triangular slit in the lower part of the body to simulate the rounded belly.
- Glue the #3 pieces near the end of the slits.
- Glue Wiggle eyes to the head.
- Now you have a construction paper centerpiece.
- Glue this project to a craft bag with handles and you will have a great goody or gift bag.
