Soap Bible

What you need

• Scrap book paper
• Soap
• White craft glue
• Craft scissors
• Ribbon
• Marker
• Charm

What you do

1. Un-wrap a single bar of soap.
2. Cut a decorative scrap book paper to size; allowing the paper to overlap the soap slightly as a book cover does its' pages.
3. Cut a piece of ribbon to size (3/4/ of the soap).
4. Glue the back side of the ribbon and adhere to 3 of the side( 1 long and 2 short) of the soap
5.  Apply glue to top and bottom of soap and warp the paper around.
6. Decorate with lettering or with a religious charm.
7. Allow to dry completely.

Helpful hints

• Try to use a thinker paper (the oils of the soap will bleed through ordinary construction paper.  We used a textured Scrapbook paper but foam paper would also work well.
