If you are like most of us you have tons of duplicate photos of your child or wish to do something different when sending out the latest school photo to your relative. Here is a great idea to get your child involved in the fun! Not to mention that your relatives will appreciate the artwork as well.

3 and up
This project is rated EASY to do.
What you need
- Pages from a favorite coloring book
- Photo of your child
- Scissors
- Crayons
- Piece of tape
What you do
- Find or create a recent close up photo or your child.
- Cut out a page from one of your favorite coloring books. This takes careful selection to ensure that the size of the face of the coloring book design is approximate in size to the photo of your child.
- Color the coloring book page that you have selected.
- Carefully cut out the face of the coloring book design.
- Attach the photo of your child to the back of the coloring paper.
Helpful hints
- School photo headshots are a good place to look for some old photos.
