What you need
- Paper plate
- White Crayon
- Decorative craft paints
- Pink Pompoms
- Decorating edging
- Cool Glue Gun
What you do
- Take the paper plate and carefully write your secret message with the white crayon. Make sure to carefully trace your letters a few times to get lots of the crayon wax deposited onto the paper plate.
- Next paint the paper plate with water based paints. The whole premise her is that the water based paint will not stick to the waxy crayon leaving your message intact even when you paint right over it.
- Once dry decorate with pink pompoms around the edge of the plate.
- Add a decorative trim to the back of the plate.
- Give to your mom with pride.
