Lamb Kids Crafts Headband

My daughter came home from daycare wearing this headband and I knew exactly where Little Bo Beeps sheep was.  This would be great to make anytime.

2 and up

This project is rated Easy  to do.

What you need

  • White Craft paper
  • Cotton balls or Fiberfill
  • Glue
  • Stapler


What you do

  1. Take two sheet of white printer paper or construction paper. 
  2. Cut approximately a 4 inch strip lengthwise down the paper.
  3. With both pieces of paper still together scallop the edges.
  4. Staple the two pieces together to form a longer strip.
  5. Fit to child's head.  Remove and staple to form a circle (halo).
  6. Cut lamb shaped ears.
  7. Attach to either side of the circle (halo).
  8. Glue Fiberfill or cotton balls to simulate wool.
  9. Wear with pride.

 

 Hints:

·         You can turn this item into an interactive game with your toddlers by pretending to be Little Bo Beep and playing hide and seek to find your sheep.

·         During the Halloween season you could dress your child in a white sweat suit and add this coordinating headband and you would be the hit of the neighborhood.
