Age
5 and up
This project is rated MEDIUM to do.
What you need
- Pages from a favorite coloring book
- Old magazines or colored paper
- White craft glue
- Craft scissors
What you do
- Cut out a page from one of your favorite coloring books.
- Cut small square shapes from colored sections/pictures from a used magazine (or from construction paper).
- Apply glue to one section of the picture and place the cut out squares into place until the picture is completely filled in.
- Allow to dry completely.
Helpful hints
- The best way to cut out lots of small squares of a single color is to cut out a solid block of color from a magazine. Take the block of paper and cut vertical lines being careful not to cut all the way through. Then cut horizontal lines across and you will end up with confetti like squares. Don't worry the squares not have to be exact.
