Pumpkin Gift or Goody Bag Craft Project

This is a great craft!  The Pumpkin is designed to stand on its' own or attached to a bag to make a great gift or goody bag.

What you need

• Orange and Black Craft Paper
• Green curling ribbon
• Glue Stick

What you do

1. Take one piece of Orange construction paper and place it horizontally on a table.  Fold the left side to the middle and fold the right side to the middle(overlapping slightly).  Glue the overlapping section closed.  What you will have is a cylinder shape with creased sides (folded edges).  Allow to open slightly so that it stands up on its' own.
2. Cut out one #1 template piece and two #4 template pieces out of a second piece of orange construction paper. 
3. Glue the #4 pieces to either side of your cylinder.
4. Glue about ½" strip down the middle (down the fold) of the #1 piece.
5. Attach to the front cylinder piece.
6. Cut our three #2 Template pieces and one #3 Template piece out of the black construction paper.
7. Glue to make face onto the #1Piece that you just attached.
8. Now you have a construction paper centerpiece. 
9. Glue this project to a craft bag with handles and you will have a great goody or gift bag.  Won't grandma be surprised when you deliver pumpkin bread inside this goody bag.
