Rainbow and Pot of Gold Kids Crafts

Science project and craft project in one!  My kids loved the pot of gold.

This project is rated Easy  to do.

What you need

• Plastic Water bottle containers
• Food Coloring
• Water
• 6 carnations
• Plastic storage container
• Black foam paper
• Chocolate coin candy

What you do

1. Fill each of the containers with water.
2. Add food coloring to each of the containers (about 20 drops).  We used, red, orange (10 drops red , 10 drops yellow), yellow, green (10 drops yellow, 10 drops blue), blue and purple( 10 drops blue, 10 drops red).
3. Place a carnation in each of the water bottle vases.
4. Fill a plastic container with chocolate coin candy.
5. Draw a pot out of the foam paper and glue to container.
6. Enjoy the candy up through St. Patrick's Day.
