Xmas Ornament Kids Crafts

What you need

• Foam Ball
• White Craft Feathers
• Red Tulle
• Silver Glitter
• Tacky Glue

What you do

1. Take feathers out of your packet and apply glue to the tips/quill.
2. Dip the glued tips into silver glitter. Let Dry.
3. Once dry start assembly the ornament by gluing feathers one a time for a single layer around the foam ball.  Let Dry.
4. Once dry apply a top layer by adding more feathers be careful to stagger the top row between the feathers of the bottom row. Let Dry.  Trim the feather if necessary.
5. Repeat the process until you completely cover the foam ball or have reached your desired effect.
6. Cut a 6 inch piece of tulle an attached to top center of the ball.  We achieved this by folding the tulle in half and insert the tulle into the ball with the help of a firm tool such as closed scissors or a screw driver.
7. Add another piece of tulle to create a bow.
8. Hang on Christmas tree to enjoy or use as a favor on a special gift.

 Hints:

* An easy way to apply glue to the tip is to insert the quill into the glue bottle and squeeze slightly.  This will coat the ends.
